The Annals of Critical Care (abbreviated as Ann Crit Care) is an official publication of the Russian Federation of Anaesthesiologists and Reanimatologists (a partner of the European Society of Anaesthesiology, the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine and a member of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists).

This is quarterly peer-reviewed open access journal providing original research, review articles, clinical trials, guidelines, educational and legal issues articles, brief communications, discussions and case reports for all clinicians and researchers involved or interested in critical care.

The Journal publishes articles reflecting various aspects of intensive care in cardiology, neurology, obstetrics, pediatrics, as well as innovations in the treatment of shock, insufficiency of different organs and systems of the body, respiratory and metabolic support, infusion and hemostasis corrective therapy, treatment of pain, etc.

The Journal emphasizes vigorous peer-review and accepts papers in Russian and English with most rapid turnaround time possible from submission to publication.

It is published by PRACTICAL MEDICINE owing extensive portfolio of journals published for many societies (e.g. ASCO, EASL) in partnership with such global players as Elsevier, Wiley and Springer.
