The Journal has not changed the ISSN in its online history.

Since 2018, the Russian title of the journal has been added by “named after A.I. Saltanov” in recognition for Prof. Saltanov’s profound contribution as a scientist and clinician in his development both in intensive care in the Russian Federation, as well as his work as the first editor-in-chief of the Journal.

The journal title In English, due to different transliteration and translation options, has adopted several titles properly reflected in the ISSN, namely as:

• Vestnik intensivnoj terapii imeni A.I. Saltanova
• Alexander Saltanov intensive care herald
• Annals of Critical Care
