Abstract
The article discusses the need for resuscitation beds and mechanical ventilation devices in hospitals redeveloped for the treatment of patients with new coronavirus infection. According to the analysis of the work of the City Clinical Hospital No. 15 named after O.M. Filatov, in the context of re-profiling into an infectious diseases hospital, the need for beds in the intensive care unit amounted to at least 12 % of the total number of hospital beds. Provision of apparatus for mechanical ventilation of lungs (mechanical ventilation) should be at least 80 % of the total number of beds in the intensive care unit. In addition, it is necessary to provide for the possibility of expanding the bed capacity to 30 % of the number of regular beds.References
